Terms of Service

These terms describe how predictFRC may be used. By using the service you agree to follow them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing predictFRC, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility & minors
The service is intended for users 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the service only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or mentor.
3. Permitted & prohibited use
You may use predictFRC for personal, educational, and team-strategy purposes. You may not scrape at abusive rates, attempt to access non-public data, disrupt the service, misrepresent its outputs as official, or use it for unlawful purposes.
4. Accounts & security
The current service does not offer user accounts. If accounts are introduced, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
5. User-submitted scouting data
The current service does not accept user submissions. If submission features are added, you must own or have the right to submit the content, it will be labeled user-submitted (not official), and you must not post harassing, defamatory, doxxing, impersonating, or sensitive personal information. A reporting and moderation process will be provided.
6. Intellectual property
The APEX model, original code, text, and design are owned by the operator. Public FRC and third-party API data remain the property of their respective owners and are used for analytics and commentary.
7. Public FRC & third-party data
Competition data is provided by The Blue Alliance and, where available, FIRST. predictFRC is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by these organizations.
8. AI-generated & experimental analytics
predictFRC produces AI-assisted, experimental analytics. APEX ratings, predictions, win probabilities, and AI summaries are estimates and may be wrong, incomplete, or delayed. predictFRC rankings are not official FIRST rankings.
9. Prediction & accuracy limitations
No prediction is guaranteed. Do not rely solely on predictFRC for alliance selection, travel, safety, financial, or competition decisions.
10. Service availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time.
11. Third-party links
The service may link to third-party sites (such as team websites). The operator is not responsible for their content.
12. Suspension or termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for violations of these terms.
13. Changes to the service or terms
These terms may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
