Privacy Policy

predictFRC is an independent, experimental project developed and powered by AI and by FRC Team 8005. This project is independent and is not affiliated with FIRST, Statbotics, The Blue Alliance, or any official FRC organization.

In its current form, predictFRC is a read-only analytics site. It does not require an account, and it does not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, school schedules, precise location, or birth dates. The app does not currently include contact forms, user accounts, or user-submitted scouting. If those features are added later, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what they collect and why.

Most data shown is public FRC competition data (teams, events, matches, rankings) sourced from The Blue Alliance and, where available, official FIRST data. This is public competition information, not private personal data. predictFRC keeps this clearly separated from any private user information.

predictFRC uses only essential local storage needed for the interface (for example, remembering UI preferences). It does not currently load third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels. If non-essential analytics or tracking are introduced, a consent banner and a Cookie Settings control will be added first, and tracking will not run before consent.

The app relies on infrastructure and data providers including the hosting platform, The Blue Alliance API, and AI-assistance tooling used to generate analytics summaries. These providers process requests needed to operate the service.

Some summaries and ratings are produced by AI-assisted, experimental models. These outputs are estimates and may be wrong, incomplete, or delayed. They are clearly labeled across the site.

Public FRC data is cached only as long as needed to keep pages fast and current. No private user profiles are stored in the current version. Reasonable technical measures protect the service, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

No. predictFRC does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising.

Because the current app does not collect personal accounts, there is little personal data to access, correct, or delete. If user submissions are added later, you will be able to request access, correction, or deletion by contacting FRC Team 8005. A parent or guardian may request removal of a child's information through the same contact.

Many FRC participants are students. predictFRC is intended for users 13 or older and avoids collecting unnecessary personal information. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
